Reinstall blackberry os curve 8900

I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. My Applications page under Settings lists AppWorld and I have even tried countless battery pulls and deleting AppWorld and reinstalling it.

I used to have a bb curve and used bb maps all the time. For some reason it is listed in my apps when I go to settings, but the icon is no where to be found so I can't ever open it! I use poynt a lot and it uses bb maps to map out my travel, but I can't just open bb maps to do my own route with an address. What is the deal? How can I get the bb maps icon to appear on my "home screen"? It isn't in any of my other folders either. I have recently installed FB 1.

I installed this version since I do not have a data plan. My problem is that I can't find the FB icon anywhere. I've googled this and tried all the solutions restart phone, remove battery, change theme, show all applications but to no avail. I update my OS then my maps icon missing but maps application is appear in application.

The application is listed on the Application Manager but nowhere to be found on the Menu even after trying to show all application icons. Tried to reinstall and wipe the system several times but the problem still persists.

I was able to find it by: 1. Clicking the blackberry button 2. Clicking messages 3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder" There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.

I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen? I have loaded OS 5 onto my on O2, the phone crashed so had to wipe everything and load OS 5 onto it.

Now I cannot find blackberry maps, memos or tasks? How can I put these back on? I can't find them on app world? If I look on BB desktop Maps is installed. Also on my phone Maps is installed but I didn't have an icon to start this software. I have bought a new Torch and since, then facing various issues. The latest one being that compass icon is missing under Application or Home screen. On top of it, I checked that Compass is neither present in the installed Applications list.

The last thing I remember was that I had reset the phone once. After upgrading to 6. It is not hidden i have checked that. I have also followed the instructions here And downloading the BB maps from this link but it is not there. I cant find it inder downloads or even application folder.
