I agree. I've always advocated playing Plus anyway, however, I understand some people prefer the original experience. For what it's worth, nowadays, the Plus version adds a lot more than before - new restored levels and some changed Disciplines, so with these changes it is slightly more relevant to play Basic for comparison reasons, but there is still very little to be lost from straight playing Plus.
